SUMMARY:Classroom acting in English lessons, classes 3-7
DESCRIPTION:Inhalt\nClassroom acting in English lessons helps to bring stories, poems and songs to life. It provides a wealth of opportunities for speaking English, individually and as a group, and allows for different and varied forms of participation. As scenes are repeated and the story unfolds, the students’ understanding and confidence grow. This is an ideal basis for introducing writing and reading in class 4.\nOn this course we will experience and experiment with material for classes 3 to 7 which lends itself well to classroom acting. We will explore the sliding scale between interactive storytelling and acting scenes out with students. We will also look at how to weave classroom acting into our lessons so that it connects to and supports other activities.\nZielgruppe\nLehrer*innen und Studierende des Faches Handarbeit, Interessierte\nArbeitsweise\nseminaristisch und praktisch\nZeiten\nFreitag 12.03.2027, 16:00 – 19:30 Uhr, Samstag 13.03.2027, 9:00 – 16:00 Uhr\nDozentin\nKavita Desay\nKavita Desai grew up in England, where she discovered a love for languages and studied German and French.
